The Parks and Recreation Department helps Grand Rapids residents and visitors get out and play in their community. City Offices Closed July 4. City offices are closed on Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day. Trash, recycling, and yard waste collections for Thursday and Friday will be delayed one day.
